Autism Aspect Australia  Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is a not for profit provider of services and assistance to people with autism and their families.

BRAVE Self-Help: The BRAVE Program is an online program for the prevention and treatment of anxiety in young people.The program was developed by a team of researchers from the University of Queensland, Griffith University and the University of Southern Queensland, and has been specially designed to teach young people the skills they need to reduce anxiety and to cope with stressful situations. The program is based on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and has been running in Australia for over 13 years. Therapy techniques used in this program include relaxation training, identification of emotions and thoughts, positive self-talk, coping skills, problem solving and approaching feared situations.

Life Line 131114 Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. Somewhere in Australia there is a new call to Lifeline every minute. Australian Mining Partners is about connecting with other partners and families with a significant other who works in the Mining Industry either residential, fly in fly out (FIFO) or drive in drive out (DIDO).
The purpose of this group is to ask questions, share your experiences and support other people and families who are in the same situation. Please share with us your successes and talk about your frustrations with other supportive and respectful members who understand what its like to have a mining partner in the house.

Happy Families Support Group

Does your partner work away? “Happy Families” is a family support group running Tuesdays from 10am-12pm at the Caloundra Community Centre. Weekly meetings are about connecting with other families whose partners work away in the mining, construction and any other industry which requires your partner to work away from home. If you are new to the area or are looking to meet mums and families in your same situation for fun and support, then we would love to see you. We aim to run meetings in a positive and fun way while discussing the common issues that affect families and then help to support each other. The kids can play in the play area and we can have a cuppa, chat and a laugh! The group is not just for families with kids but for anyone of any age whose partner works away and wants to connects with others. FIFO/DIDO (fly in fly out/ drive in drive out) South West WA

Kristian Italiano has been a FIFO wife for eight years and is the coordinator of a FIFO support group in south west WA. They have created a FIFO/DIDO support group for the South-West area from Mandurah to Augusta. They are a Non-For Profit group and the group is not public for the security of families. They currently have 320 members on their page. They have taken a break over Christmas but will be meeting again early in the new year.     I am in the process of building a website/blog & in my blog i wanted to put a support services page on it because my blog is about being a fifo wife & i think having all the support resources in one spot. When googling support resources fifo your website came out, its a fantastic tool with so many awesome links. Would you mind me sharing the support services along with ones i have found on my page?.
