Its cool here this morning and I’m having trouble sitting here in the one spot and I am tempted that I should go back to bed and curl up with the blanket citing isn’t that what holidays are for but then my husband isn’t on holidays and so there goes that feeling of entitlement…I swear I think too much.
How was your weekend? Mine weekend went by in a flash I had the markets this weekend I set up my stall and because the weather was good people flocked in their hundreds and it was wonderful. I met some wonderful people and a couple out walking their pet goose Skuppers. It was a glorious day seriously was. Made even more glorious by the hug another stall holder gave me. She works hard and so I told her clever she was for making all the clothes she sold..she hugged me in return..whole heartedly..It was nice and put me on cloud nine for the rest of the day.
My kids have gone to their grandparents in Darwin for few days I haven’t told anyone because I feel spoilt. They as most know don’t live here where I am; I have no family here and so they must travel to them or they to me as my parents and children get older the visits more frequent. Needless to say I am alone and I said to my husband this is what is would be like if we had had no kids…I got a full night sleep but the house is quiet so quiet I’m trying to enjoy the quiet but you can get lost in the quiet.
Anyway its the last day of June tomorrow marks half way through the year and the start of a new financal year these are the few things running through my head.
1. I just read there is 177 days until Christmas…golly gee is not what I said.
2. I am dog sitting my neighbours dog…Im currently trying to teach her not to chase the chickens..thats as easy as training a horse to talk.
3. Does anyone else look forward to tax time like I do? It’s like a life line to pay the insurance, council rates and top up the savings account.
4. I ran the road today 3 kilometres I know not a far but a massive achievement for me and my plated knee.
