a fifo wife {a fifo life: a few things}

The weekend well it was gone in a flash and now here we are a few days until the weekend for us is truely over a start date given and the bags are sitting by the door. Its bitter-sweet that phone call but here we are I am sitting whilst the same chorus runs true do you think I will need this will I need that? Its the same chorus for the past 14 years the irritation it once caused because I was being left behind is now one of amusement after 14 years you would have thought we might be more organised but it appears we are not and nor will will we ever be but I really like that.

The sun came out this weekend glorious it was we soaked up that vitamin D like it was the last sunny day on offer. Linen, pillows, rugs and doonas were thrown into the sun to air and at night they came in with that sun smell like freshly baked cotton..along with fresh sheets there is no better way to sleep..

So with the weekend being over husband starting his chorus these are the few things running through my head.

1. A friend has cancerous mass lesion in her breast its deep inside her breast so there was no lump just a mammogram picked it up if you are over forty take advantage of the free breast screening available to you. Have a look here.
2. Why has this happened she asked me? What’s the lesson both of us are big believers in lessons because you need to take care of you it’s a sign that we need to take better care of ourselves.
3. I met the loveliest family this week and of course they were a DIDO family naturally. I told them my life story in fifteen minutes. I was desperate for adult conversation.
4. Its fly out day the weekend is over Im a little ho hum about it…typically as Mondays are.
5. We have been living in dust for a week. I just want somewhere clean to sit.
6. Such an interesting story here.
7. I have always found the practice of foot binding so interesting here.
8. The BFG is going to be a movie my kids are going to go nuts here.
