Chocolate Coconut Truffles.

I don’t know what if this is what you really call these truffles balls (cant say that with out laughing sorry mind above the gutter- child yes I am) but I made these constantly as a teenager because baking just made the kitchen in Darwin way back when far too hot..so when my oven died a few weeks ago these were a staple and I was mum of the year because not only can the kids make them they are so so good.

What you will need:

  • 1 packet (250g) milk arrowroot biscuits
  • 1/3 cup (40g) cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (45g) desiccated coconut (plus a little extra for rolling the balls in)
  • 1 tin (395g) condensed milk
  • teaspoon of vanilla extract

How to:

  • Crush the biscuits and place into a mixing bowl
  • Add cocoa and coconut, stir together then add vanilla and condensed milk.
  • Take small amount of mixture and roll into a ball, then roll through extra coconut.
  • Continue with the rest of the mixture, place the chocolate balls on a plate and chill in the fridge for 30 mins.

Try not to eat them all in one go…
