I was going to channel Nina Proudman for the airport pick up. Not a chance the cold set in and it was coats and scarfe’s instead. So instead I opted for white shirt and jeans and who can go wrong with a white shirt huh? Mind you I have only just started to wear white again. Babies, toddlers and dogs recipe for a Prohart disaster waiting to happen.
I also make no secret I have a thing for classic styling. Its easy. I need all the easy in my life and well classic never goes out of style. So now that Im all grown up I have several white blouses and shirts non of them ‘new or a label’ they are all ‘vinatge’. After searching and searching most outlets I couldnt find the right one and well the right white shirt is like the right jeans they just have to fit well otherwise its just looks off, so I moved on to op shops and found several very beautiful vinatge styles. They are just cut better and the fabric is just devine. Im a fabric and cut girl.
So todays thing is the classic white shirt if you can in variation of cut and style ( I have three..perfect) . Every one needs at least one grown up white shirt. One. The girl in the image is a wee young but dont let that falter you I think everyone can pull off that styling with a little tweaking. Its timeless.
